ZufZufall Health offers veterans special dental services at Vets Summer Smiles Day
Zufall Health, a nonprofit community health center, will hold a three-day Vets Summer Smiles Day event June 27-29 to offer Warren and Sussex County veterans dental exams and treatment services at no out-of-pocket cost to them. The event, open to both new and current Zufall patients, will take place at Zufall offices in Hackettstown, Newton, and Dover.
On June 27 and 28, new veteran patients visiting Hackettstown or Newton will receive a full set of dental x-rays, an oral cancer screening, a complete examination, and recommendations for follow-up treatment. These patients will also be offered a second appointment for June 29 to receive either a cleaning, filling, or extraction.
In addition, any veteran who is a current Zufall dental patient can receive a cleaning, filling, or extraction at no out-of-pocket cost on June 29 at Zufall’s dental site in Dover.
Appointments are limited and must be reserved in advance. These services, valued between $200 to more than $500, are subject to income eligibility guidelines. Veterans calling for reservations must mention the Vets Summer Smiles program. For more information, call Hackettstown at 908-452-5366, Newton at 973-862-6650, or Dover at 973-328-3344, ext. 454.
