Tri-something new this July and sign up for the Pass It Along Triathlon!
The 9th annual Pass It Along Triathlon will take place on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Lake Mohawk Country Club. This triathlon features two USAT-certified courses - Olympic and Sprint. This triathlon has become a Sparta tradition and everyone is welcome to attend to cheer on athletes and be a part of the day!
The Sprint course features a 400-meter swim, 10.8 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run. The Olympic course features a 1500 meter swim, 21.6 mile bike and a 6.2 mile run. Both courses are open to individuals and relay teams of two or three members! Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall male & female per course, relay teams and various age group categories.
The minimum age for individual entries is 14-years-old for both the Sprint & Olympic Course. For relay teams, the minimum age is nine-years-old for Sprint & 14 years for Olympic. In addition to registering as a two or three member team, options are available to participate in only some segments of the race, individuals looking for relay team member(s), and individuals that would like to have a swim angel (an experienced swimmer or lifeguard who provides support shore-side or in the water at open water swimming events).
