Sparta Police: Denville Man's with Dragging Bumper Gets DWI

SPARTA, NJ – A Denville man is facing drunk driving charges after he was stopped because his front bumper was hanging off the car.  On April 29 around 9:30 p.m. Lt. Jeff McCarrick saw Richard Cosgrove, 54 on West Mountain Road with his bumper scraping on the road, police said.

SPARTA, NJ – An Augusta man is facing drunk driving charges after being stopped for weaving across lanes on Route 15 north.  On April 18 around 2 a.m. Officer Herd stopped Leslaine Lambert, 62 in a black BMW, police said.

Deadly House Fire in Wayne on Monday Evening

WAYNE, NJ - The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office released a statement regarding a fire that broke out on Monday evening around 6:00 p.m. at 121 Jackson Avenue in Wayne. 

They reported three adults “deceased at the scene.”
