The 2nd Annual Askin & Hooker Labor Day 5K Run/Walk in Sparta!

SPARTA, NJ—Askin & Hooker, LLC announce the second annual Labor Day 5K!  The event will take place Monday, September 4, at 9 a.m. starting at the Lake Mohawk Plaza, and will benefit the preservation and beautification of Lake Mohawk.  A pre-race packet pickup will be available Sunday at the Boardwalk from 4 to 6 p.m.

Immediately following, the Ski Hawks will present a thrilling water ski show.

The course begins and ends at the Rock Arch in the festive Lake Mohawk village. 

The Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation is dedicated to preserving and beautifying Lake Mohawk, the Upper Lake, and the Alpine Pools for years to come. This includes providing education to the community regarding how to keep these bodies of water safe, researching new lake technologies, and partnering with other community organizations to keep the Lakes as healthy as possible.

Bill Askin, a long-time board member of the Lake Mohawk Foundation, and Todd Hooker, his law partner, have brought a huge amount of support from Askin & Hooker, LLC, our official sponsor.  In addition, a number of community members have contributed gifts, time, and encouragement.
