Sparta Police: Drug Charges for Driver Who Would Not Move Over

SPARTA, NJ – A traffic stop on Route 15 ended with drug charges for the driver, a Jersey City resident.  On May 19 around 3 p.m. Officer Thomas Herd stopped Brandon Khusial, 20 for failing to keep right, police said.

Sparta Police: West New York Men Speed to Drug Charges

SPARTA, NJ – Two men are facing drug charges after being stopped for speeding on Route 15.  On May 16 around 9:30 a.m. Officer Jonathan Poon stopped Daniel Guzman, 25 in a white Buick for going 77 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, police said.

When Poon spoke with the West New York driver, he smelled marijuana.  Guzman admitted there was pot in the car, police said.
