Sparta Police Advise of Main Street Closure on Wednesday, Jan 24

SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta police advise Main Street will be closed on Wednesday, January 24.  Beginning at 7 p.m. the road between Town Center Drive and Glen Road will be closed "until the job is completed." 

Police suggest planning an alternate route during this time period.

SPARTA, NJ – A Parsippany man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on Route 15.  On January 18 around 9:50 p.m. Cpl. Marc Rubino stopped Christopher Allocca, 21, because he had a large object hanging from his rearview mirror, police say.
