Sparta Police: Speeding Nets Wanted Man

March 22, 2019

SPARTA, NJ- A speeding driver from Perth Amboy caught the attention of Cpl. Craig Grauerholz on Route 15 on March 19 around 3:15 p.m.  Ronald Valera, 20 was going 84 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, police said.

Grauerholz pulled Valera over and found the driver had a suspended license and an outstanding warrant from Perth Amboy, police said.

Sparta Police: Suspended Driver Causes Four Car Crash

SPARTA, NJ – Only one minor injury was reported in a four car accident but the driver that caused it is facing charges.  On March 15 around 2:30 p.m. Officer Jonathan Poon was called to the scene of the accident at the intersection of White Lake Road and Route 15, police report.
