Sparta Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 5:30 pm at the Sparta High School to vote on a separation agreement with Dr. Rossi and other personnel matters.

The Board will convene into executive session at the end of the public portion of the meeting for matters of personnel and attorney/client privilege.

Sparta Police: DWI Charges for Woman Who Crashed into the Woods

September 23, 2020

SPARTA, NJ – A Lafayette woman was taken to the hospital after she crashed off Demarest Road.  On September 16 around 9:30 p.m. Police Officer Thomas Herd found Danielle Enman, 33 had gone off the road, about 20 feet into the wood, police said.

Enman, the only person in the car, appeared disoriented and did not know how her car ended up in the wood, police said.

SPARTA, NJ- A Riverdale woman was stopped after police were alerted to an erratic driver on Route 15 north.  On September 17 around 8:15 p.m. Officer Matt Pletcher found Tracy Vayda, 31 driving a white Volkswagen Jetta, police said.
