Sparta Police: Suspended Driver Causes Four Car Crash

SPARTA, NJ – Only one minor injury was reported in a four car accident but the driver that caused it is facing charges.  On March 15 around 2:30 p.m. Officer Jonathan Poon was called to the scene of the accident at the intersection of White Lake Road and Route 15, police report.

SPARTA, NJ – A Harrison woman stopped for traffic infractions got herself into additional trouble when she gave a false name and birthdate to the officer.  On March 9 around 10:30 a.m. Officer Michael Poon stopped a black Honda Civic on Route 15, police said.

Sparta Police: Speeding Nets Wanted Man

SPARTA, NJ – A Lake Hopatcong man was picked up on an open warrant after being stopped for speeding on Route 15 north.  On March 7 around 3 p.m. Officer Michael Poon pulled over Johar Knight, 27, for driving 73 MPH in a 55 MPH, police said.
