Sparta Police: Speeding and Smell Lead Ends with Drug Charges for Sparta Man

SPARTA, NJ – A Sparta man is facing drug related charges after a traffic stop on West Shore Trail.  On December 12 around 11:30 p.m. Officer Brian Porter stopped James Sokoloski, 23, for speeding; driving 33 MPH in a 23 MPH zone, police report.

SPARTA, NJ – A driver and passenger were stopped for speeding on Route 15 and ended up in custody.  On December 9 around 3:30 p.m. Officer Steven Guido stopped Joseph Devalle, 27 of Jersey City for going 89 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, police report.
