SPARTA, NJ – The 31 Annual Fresh Perspectives show at the Morris Museum is taking on a different form this year. Sparta High School will be represented by three student artists this year.
Riley D’Alessandro, William Kristiansen and Julia McEllen were selected from approximately 400 pieces sent to be considered for the juried show, art teacher Jennifer Kucher Csaltos said.
- D'Alessandro's submission is called "Capturing Flow," wax and plaster sculpture.
- Kristiansen's photo is called "Save them on BEEhalf of the World."
- McEllen's piece "The 2am Smiling Man," is a scratchboard assemblage.
The show of 50 selected works will be available on the Morris Museum’s website as well as a in a printed catalog.
“It’s a real honor for these kids,” KucharCsaltos said.
