SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta Board of Education has new leadership after the reorganization meeting on Monday night.  After being sworn for her second term, Kim Bragg was unanimously approved as board president, having been nominated by Kate Matteson, seconded by Jen Grana.

Once she took the gavel, Bragg nominated Grana for the vice presidency.  Matteson seconded and the vote was 6--3 with Kylen Anderson, Joanne Hoover and Jason Ventresca dissenting.

New board members Niamh Grano and Kurt Morris also took their oaths of office at the start of the meeting.
