SPARTA, NJ – Like everything else these days, the newest member of the board of education was sworn in like never before. Not only was Robert Zywicki taking his oath from his living room on a Google Hang Out video conference, but Sussex County Freeholder and former Sparta Mayor Josh Hertzberg administered the oath from his home office.

It was an honor to be asked by Dr. Zywicki to perform his board of education swearing in,” Hertzberg said. “I look forward to what his experience and passion will bring to the board and our district.”

“Josh is a friend, a fellow Sparta dad and a fellow football coach,” Zywicki said.  “I respect his leadership and that’s why I asked him to administer the oath.”
