SPARTA, NJ – Sparta High School is inviting eighth grade parents to visit their students’ future educational home on Thursday, January 9. The Parent Night will be held from 6:30 to 8:35 p.m.
Principal Ronnie Spring and his administrative team including Vice Principals Jamie Barker and Michael Lauricella and Athletic Director Steve Stoner have put together a program for parents, revised from previous years.
Parents will first meet in the auditorium for an introduction and overview of the evening by the school’s guidance department. They will then rotate through three different information sessions.
They will have an opportunity to hear from the department supervisors about academics and programs of studies available at the school.
A panel of seniors and freshmen will be speaking with parents sharing their perspective and answering questions.
An extracurricular activities fair will include introduction to sports and a visit to the robotics lab, music and art rooms for demonstrations. Parents will have a chance to see various instructional spaces in the school according to Spring.
