SPARTA, NJ- The weather was made to order for the annual Fraternal Order of Police Oktoberfest 2019.  On Saturday, October 5 the patio and bocce courts at the Mohawk House were filled with FOP supporters enjoying traditional German fare such as bratwurst and sauerkraut and maybe a beer.

“The turn out and show of support for the Union and Police Department was overwhelming and we thank the community for their continued support,” organizer Kurt Morris said. “Everyone enjoyed themselves and all were thankful the weather turned out to be perfect.”

Morris said the money raised by the event will be donated to a number of charities as well as help families in need.

“We would like to thank the entire Mohawk House Staff for a job well done, the Scro Family, Party King Entertainment and to Eric Nielsen and Franklin Sussex Auto Mall for their generous donation,” Morris said.
