SPARTA, NJ – And just like that, it is over.  The Sparta VFW Christmas tree sale ended last week because they sold out once again this year.

“We want to thank the Boy Scouts, Sparta High School and Pope John High School volunteers and the people of Sparta for their continued support,” Commander Pete Litchfield said.

According to Litchfield proceeds from the tree sale will once again fund three $2000 scholarships to be awarded this spring to local high school seniors.
