SPARTA, NJ – Claims that he was not good at a stick shift, was not enough to get Brandon Soares, 24, out of trouble.  On August 9 around 4:30 p.m. Officer Brian Porter stopped Brandon Soares of Milford Pennsylvania because he was weaving in his lane on Route 15 North, police said.

When speaking with the driver, Porter saw a wax fold used to store heroin in the center console.  With assistance from other officers a search of the car yielded 11 full wax folds and 45 empty wax folds of heroin.  Soares admitted they were his, police said.

The officers also found a cigarette pack with 23 folds of heroin. The passenger, Kevin Leisenheimer, 25 also of Milford, claimed ownership, police said.
