SPARTA, NJ- Fighting over a cell phone, one friend sliced the other friend’s arm. On April 28 Police Officer Michael Poon went to a home on report of a dispute with a weapon, police said.
When Poon arrived he found Alessandro Dagostaro, 21 was said to have cut his friend with a Swiss army knife because the friend would not give Dagostaro his cell phone or let him leave the house, police said.
The victim did not want to be treated for a minor cut on his forearm. Dagostaro was taken into custody and brought to Sparta Police Department Headquarters for processing, police said.
Poon charged Dagostaro with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. He was given a court date and released.
