SPARTA, NJ – A Pennsylvania man was picked up on an outstanding warrant when neighbors called police to complain about construction noise.  On August 28 around 10 p.m. Officer Steven Guido went to 350 Sparta Avenue to follow up on the complaint, police said.

Guido talked with the construction crew installing flooring and painting.  The officer found Winfred Yarosh, 42 from Henryville, Pennsylvania had a $1000 warrant out of Denville, police said.

Yarosh was taken into custody and brought to Sparta Police Department Headquarters for processing.  He was ticketed for after hours construction and Denville came to take custody of Yarosh for their warrant.

Sparta ordinance prohibits commercial construction after 6 p.m.
