SPARTA, NJ – A Wyckoff man has been charged with drunk driving after police responded to the Seven-11 because of his suspicious behavior. Christopher Millius, 33 was staring at customers when they came into the store, police said.
On December 28 around 11:30 p.m. Officer Michael Poon found Millius near the Helen Morgan School on Stanhope Road, after dispatch advised the red Hyundai had left the parking lot, police said.
When Poon spoke to Millius the officer smelled alcohol in the car. Millius was given field sobriety tests and taken into custody. At Sparta Police Department Headquarters Millius was processed. After breath testing he was charged with DWI, failure to keep right, careless driving and failure to notify of address change.
Millius was given a court date and released to a sober adult.
