SPARTA, NJ - Jesse West scored three goals to give Sparta the victory Thursday over 13th ranked Westfield, 9-8, in a nail-biter.

West led Sparta's goal scoring with a hat trick. Mike Freeman and Stelios Kroudis were right behind him with two goals each. Kroudis added an assist and picked up two groundballs.

SPARTA, NJ - Kaitlin Mead scored 11 goals in the Sparta girls lacrosse team's victory over Randolph, 17-12, on Thursday.

NEWTON, NJ - Nick Matkiwsky and James Wang lead the way again for the Sparta boys tennis team as they defeated Newton, 4-1, on Thursday.
