NEW YORK, NY – Sparta High School track athlete Gianna Macones broke some records on Tuesday.  Continuing her successful season, Macones took home the silver in the triple jump at the Eastern States Championship held at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York.

Sparta Jefferson United Ice Hockey's Season Ends in the Semifinals

MORRISTOWN, NJ – Sparta Jefferson United fell to Madison in the semifinal round of the Halverson Cup this week 4-0.  The boys played at Mennen Arena, a rematch of the semifinal’s last year.

Sparta High School Girls Basketball Rolls Over Pope John in H/W/S Tournement

SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta High School girls basketball team moved to the semifinal round of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex tournament on Saturday, defeating Pope John 45-20.  Playing in their home gymnasium on Saturday, the Spartan girls were led by Emily Dilger, Brianna Falco and Paige Smith.

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Sparta High School track athletes competed in the Morris County Coaches Association Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Monday, joining 41 other schools.
