SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta High School swim team honored their seniors at the meet against Jefferson on Thursday night at Kittatinny Regional High School.

SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta High School boys basketball team traveled across town to beat Pope John on the Lions’ court 71-60 on Friday night.  Alex Podolski put up 20 points, eight coming from the foul line.

STOCKHOLM. NJ – Sparta Jefferson United ice hockey tied Morristown on Saturday, playing on their home ice at Skylands Ice World.

Sparta Girls Basketball Loses to Morristown

SPARTA, NJ – Sparta High School girls basketball lost to Morristown 40-35 on Friday night.  The young team fell behind  in the first period 12-8 and could not recover.

MORRISTOWN, NJ – Sparta Jefferson United took down West Morris 6-3.  James Battaglia had a hat trick putting two in the net in the first period and the third in the third.

SPARTA, NJ – Sparta High School wrestling had to big losses this week.  Working on their home mats, the Spartans fell 56-15 to Delbarton with the same score against Pope John.
