Bowling: Dayton Beats Plainfield High School 7-0 for Second Win in a Row

LINDEN, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton Bulldogs won their second match in a row by beating Plainfield High School 7-0.  The Bulldogs won all three games and got the extra point for winning the match.

Senior Evan Weinberg averaged over 254 a game by rolling 764 for the three-game match. His high game was 267.

Senior Scott Maran rolled 568 and finished with his high game of 206.  He averaged a bit better than 189 a game.

Also bowling for the Bulldogs were sophomore Christopher Demers, junior Sarah Jerome and junior Russel Cook. 

As a team, the Bulldogs averaged over 150 a person in each game.

The win put Dayton’s record at 2-2 on the season. 

Their next match is at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Jersey Lanes against Hillside High School.
