Brearley-Dayton Wrestling: Freshman Nicholas Stampoulos Made it to First Round of Region 4 Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – Dayton freshman Nicholas Stampoulos made it to Round 1 of the Region 4 Tournament.  That is where his season ended. 

Stampoulos qualified as the 11th seed from the District 14 Tournament.  In Round 1 he faced sixth seeded Troy O’Connor of Middlesex High School.  He was pinned at one minute and 35 seconds. 

Wrestling in the 132-pound weight class, Stampoulos compiled a record of 14-14 for his first season on the team. His record included four pins, three major decisions and one technical fall.
