Dayton Boys Soccer Beats Brearley 5-0 for Third Win in a Row

KENILWORTH, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton boys soccer team won their third game in a row beating David Brearley High School 5-0 in an away game.  Their season’s record is now 13-3-1 and their division record remains 5-2 guaranteeing finish of at least second place.

Diogo Barros led the Bulldogs with two goals.  Senior Captain Anthony Nagy scored a goal as did Bryce Forys and Nico McNamee.  Forys and McNamee each had two assists.  Dayton had nine shots on goal.

The Bulldogs put in another strong effort on defense allowing only three shots on goal.  Their senior goalie, Will Hodic, came away with his tenth shut-out of the season.

The Bulldogs got off to a strong start and ended the first half with a 4-0 lead.  They got one more goal in the second half. 

Dayton play a division game at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at home against division rival Rahway High School.
