Dayton Boys Soccer Beats Brearley 8-0 and Goes to 5-1-1 on Season

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - After a week since the last game, the Jonathan Dayton Bulldogs returned to field in fine form and overwhelmed David Brearley High School 8-0.  Dayton is now 5-1-1 on the season.

Senior goalie Will Hodic had his fourth shut-out in a row.  The string is a result of strong goalkeeping and solid defense.
The Bulldogs started the game strong with three goals in the first seven minutes.  Sean Martin got the first goal and was followed by Diogo Barros and then Captain Bryce Forys.  Captain Anthony Nagy put in two more goals to give Dayton a 5-0 lead at the end of the half.
Senior Scott Maran scored two consecutive goals in the second half.  Byrce Forys put in the eighth goal at the 66 minute mark.  
In addition to the goals, Nagy assisted on the second and seventh goal of the game.  Barros assisted on the sixth goal of the game.  Elie Kapengut assisted on the fourth goal of the game and Nico McNamee assisted on the last goal of the game.
For the game Dayton had 16 shots on goal and Brearley had five shots.
