Dayton Boys Soccer Team Seeded No. 11 in Union County Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – In Monday’s seeding meeting for the Union County Tournament for boys soccer, the Jonathan Dayton Bulldogs were given the eleventh seed. 

The preliminary round of the single elimination tournament begins on October 4 with seven games.  The quarterfinals will be played on October 7 followed by the quarterfinals on October 14, the semifinals on October 27 and the finals on Sunday October 27 at Kean University.

Dayton plays at home in the preliminary round against 14th seed Union High School.  The winner will play in the first round against the winner of the preliminary round games pitting sixth seed Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School against 19th seed Roselle Catholic High School.  The winner of that game advances to the quarterfinals and faces third seed Cranford High School.

The first seed is Westfield High School.  The second seed is Elizabeth High School and the fourth seed is Governor Livingston High School.
