Dayton Girls Soccer Battles Elizabeth to a 3-3 Tie in Two Overtimes

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton girls soccer team faced second place division rival Elizabeth on Senior Night and came away with a 3-3 tie after two scoreless overtimes. 

The tie put the Bulldogs season record at 7-9-2 and their division record at 4-4-2 and a third-place finish in the six-team division. 

Carina Servello led the Bulldogs with two goals and Sophie Pleva had one.  Eliana McNamee had two assists and Mia Eibschutz had one.

Jordan Sievert faced ten shots on goal as did Elizabeth’s goalie.

The Bulldogs last game of the regular season is a home game at 4:00 p.m. Friday against Plainfield High School.
