Dayton Girls Soccer: Shuts Out Hillside 6-0 and Ups Record for Season to 2-1

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton girls soccer team beat Hillside High School in a convincing fashion 6-0 and pushed their record for the season to 2-1. 

Dayton started strong and jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half.  The Bulldogs goalie, sophomore Jordan Sievert, faced on four shots and turned them all away.

Senior Sophie Pleva led the Bulldogs scoring effort with two goals.  Four other Dayton players scored and goal.  They were freshman Eliana McNamee, junior Jessica Micolta, junior Allison Pando, and junior Carina Servello.

Five Dayton players made an assist.  They were sophomore Mia Eibshutz, McNamee, junior Caitlynn McTernan, Micolta and Servello.

On Saturday, Jonathan Dayton plays an 11:00 a.m. game against division leader A.L. Johnson at home on Dayton’s turf field.
