Dayton Girls Soccer Wins Second in a Row by Beating Brearley 2-1

KENILWORTH, NJ – In an early evening game at David Brearley High School, the Jonathan Dayton girls soccer team won a close game one 2-1.  It was the Bulldogs second win in a row and pushed their record to 7-9-1 for the season and 4-4-1 in the dvision

The game was tied 1-1 at the end of the first half.  The Bulldogs scored the only goal of the second half for the victory.

Goals were scored by Sophie Pleva and Carina Servello.  Caitlynn McTernan and Mia Eibschutz assisted on the goals.

The Bulldogs goalie Jordan Sievert stopped eight of the nine shots on goal.

The next games for the Bulldogs are home games.  They Elizabeth High School at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday and Plainfield High School at 4:00 p.m. Friday.
