ROSELLE PARK, NJ – At the beginning of the season, Coach Pamela De La Flave said, "It is always a good game when we play Roselle Park.” Saturday’s game was no exception and the teams battled to a scoreless tie at the end of seven innings. Roselle Park won it in the eighth on a one out sacrifice fly to left field that was deep enough to give the Panther on third time to beat the throw home.
The Bulldogs were able to get only two hits in the game, while the Panthers scattered nine hits over the eight innings. Both teams had one error.
Arianna DeMartino pitched a strong game for the Bulldogs in the loss, which put the Bulldogs 8-5 on the season.
On Monday, the Bulldogs play at Kent Place and then they play at Scotch Plains-Fanwood Tuesday. They return home to Dayton for three day home stand against Bloomfield Thursday, a game against Union Friday and a game against Benedictine Saturday.
