Dayton Tennis Earns Number Two Seed in 2017 NJSIAA North 2, Group 1 Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton boys tennis team is seeded number two in the NJSIAA North 2, Group 1 Tournament.  Their round 1 match is Friday against the 15 seed Whippany Park at Dayton’s courts.

The winner of the match plays the winner of the seven seed Leonia and ten seed Ridgefield match on Tuesday May 16.  The third round is the semifinal and will be played May 18.  The finals are scheduled to be played May 22. 

New Providence High School is seeded number one and has a bye to round two. 

Dayton is 8-4 on the season with matches against  Oratory Prep and Cranford scheduled before the tournament.
