SPRINGFIELD, NJ – Dayton played Glen Ridge in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA North 2, Group 1 Tournament Thursday and lost 5-0.  For Dayton it was a tough loss in an otherwise really good season.

After a losing season in 2016, Dayton bounced back under first year Coach Caitlyn Salmon and posted a 10-7 record and made it all the way to the semifinals of hte sectional tournament.  Like most teams in the area, the inclement weather at the beginning of the season caused many postponements and reduced practice time.

Dayton’s court two and court three players, Josh Damast and Jared Horowitz, are seniors.  The rest of today’s starters will return next season.
