The Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce honored three local businesses at its 105th Annual Dinner Meeting, held earlier last night at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott.

Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery of Linden was honored as the Large Company of the Year. Capitol Securities Management, Inc. of Florham Park and Red Bank was honored as the Medium Company of the Year. Premiere Media, LLC of Hillsborough was honored as the Small Company of the Year.

Bayway Refinery, one of Phillips 66’s 12 US refineries, has operated for more than a century and is one of the largest refineries on the East Coast, processing crude oil into a variety of products, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, home heating oil, propane, butane and fuel oil, as well as many familiar consumer goods from their world-scale polypropylene (plastics) plant. The refinery has a significant economic impact to the local communities and New Jersey, providing 1,100 direct jobs. Bayway Refinery produces enough gasoline to meet more than half of New Jersey’s annual demand.
