In Three Days Dayton Tennis Wins Four in a Row This Week

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Jonathan Dayton Bulldogs boys tennis team won their third and fourth matches in a row this week beating Elizabeth High School twice Thursday.  The score of both matches was 5-0 and the Bulldogs record is now 8-3. 

On court one Senior Colin McCormack won 6-0, 6-0 in the first match and 6-0, 7-5 in the second match.  He is 6-5 on court one this year.

Senior Josh Damast plays singles two for Dayton.  He won his match the first match 6-1, 6-0 and the second match 6-2, 6-1.  He is 9-2 on the year.

Playing singles three for the Bulldogs is senior Jared Horowitz and won his first match 6-0, 6-1 and his second match 6-3, 6-0.  Horowitz is 8-3 in 2017.

Junior Adam Gelo and freshman Matthew Mlawski played the first doubles court and won their matches.

Second doubles Ryan Solomon and Brandon Wohl also won their matches.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood comes to Dayton Tuesday for a match.  Then the Bulldogs go on the road and play at Oratory Prep Wednesday and Cranford Thursday.  On Friday they return home and face Bound Brook.
