JCC of Central NJ to Host Second Annual "Touch a Truck" Event on Sun., May 21


SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Back for its second year, the JCC of Central New Jersey will be hosting "Touch a Truck, "the a free event that provides children with a unique opportunity to explore vehicles of all types on Sunday, May 21 from 1-5 p.m. at the JCC of Central NJ (1391 Martine Ave.). From public service and emergency vehicles to utility, construction, transportation and delivery trucks, children will be allowed to touch and get behind the wheel of their favorite vehicles so that they can explore and learn.  

JCC's own Camp Yachad will be providing even more activities with bouncing and games on our campsite. Food trucks and music will also be part of the day’s entertainment. The event will be free and open to the community and will run rain or shine.

There will be a special "Hold the Horn" hour from 1 to 2 p.m. designed for children with special needs and those living with auditory sensitivity issues where there will be no horns, music or sirens.
