SPRINGFIELD, NJ – On Tuesday, Jonathan Dayton boys track team faced Roselle Catholic at Meisel Park and won 92-24.

Coach Matt VanDeursen said, “Coming back from the break with a meet is always tough on the body.  So, having some of the kids hit some personal bests was great.”

The coach went on to say, “Fabian Mestanzia and Kyle DeJohn raced to win the mile in 5:03 and 5:05, respectively.  These were their best marks of the season.”  He added, “Many other kids had some great performances and we won eight of eleven events.”

Next up for the Bulldogs is the Blue Devil Classic on Saturday in Westfield, which will “…have a good level of competition” according to the coach.  The fourth and final dual meet of the season is at New Providence on Tuesday.
