Jonathan Dayton Golf: Extends Record to 3-1 with Win over Brearley, 185-277

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – Jonathan Dayton’s golf team put in a strong showing for their home match at Baltusrol Golf Club against David Brearley High School.  They won 185-277.

Senior Adam Berkowitz led the team with a low score of 39, just three over par.  Senior Daniel Griess shot a 41and junior Scott Maran shot a 48.  Senior Connor Mahoney finished out the top four with a 57.

Also playing for Dayton were senior Frankie Forte and junior Kevin Kennedy.

The Jonathan Dayton Bulldogs golf team is 2-1 on the season.   Brearley’s record is now 0-2.

Dayton plays at Galloping Hill Wednesday and plays Union High School at 3:30 p.m. and return to Baltusrol Golf Club Monday April 17 to play Roselle Park High School at 3:30 p.m..
