Milentijevic Family recognized as Springfield Healthy Family

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - On June 14 at the Springfield Board of Health meeting the Milentijeciv Family was recognized for their participating in “The Springfield Health Family Challenge.”

This was a six week program held every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Miesel Park. Each week the family received health education from Dr. Lisa Stettner Glennon, participated in yoga, and walked as a family.

The Milentijevic Family showed true dedication by coming to every program. They learned new healthy recipes, and even made it a routine to cook dinner as a family. “This program was a great was to get exercise and to do it as family vs. individual” Stated mom, Michelle Milentijevic,.

The family was awarded a $25.00 gift card, flowers and a recognition plaque.
