SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael’s Mitzvah Day was held on March 4th. Over 75 people participated in community service activities for all ages. Some of these activities include: friendship bracelets for families who have lost children due to illness, letters to Israeli soldiers serving in the Israeli Army  who do not have family in Israel, cooking meals for families living in a shelter in Elizabeth and boxing Shabbat Kits for Jewish patients in the hospital.

The event was so successful that the Temple plans to make it an annual event.
