SPRINGFIELD,  NJ - On November 27 MLB officially opened in Springfield at 51 Commerce Street. The President and Chief Executive officer Samuel Lamparello heads up the 40 person office. He is a certified mortgage banker and said there are only about 2,000 in the United States.

Mr. Lamparello has positioned his company to be a community mortgage banker. The literature states “Affordable mortgage financing creates a structure to obtain a home which is the foundation of family values.”

In an interview with Mr. Lampanella, he stated “I decided to come back into the business to build a business model that is all about community.  Every time MLB closes a loan money is donated to one of nine different charities. He calls it “altruism capital”.  He went on to say, "The more we close the more we donate." He is considering a couple of Springfield charities to add to the mix.
