SPRINGFIELD, NJ - The Springfield Rotary Club is holding our annual TASTE OF THE TOWNS fund raising event this year at the recently opened Springfield Gardens Hilton hotel, on Rt. 22 west bound in Springfield.  The event will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Past events have been a tremendous success, with both vendors and attendees enjoying the evening’s food and activities.  Last year there were more than 25 food, beverage and dessert vendors, and over 250 attendees.

As always, there will be Tricky Tray prizes, as well as live auction prizes for the attendees to bid on.

Last year, the club had about 50 Tricky Tray items, and another 20+ items that were auctioned off to the highest bidder.  The auctioned items included things such as Disney World Park Hopper tickets, and tickets to Jets and Giants games.

The event is a success because of the vendors and attendees, but also because of the efforts made by of all the club members.  Rotary is a service organization and the money raised is used for the betterment of our community and other projects.

Springfield Rotary looks forward to serving our community each year and welcomes the opportunity for people who’d like to learn more about our club to contact the club President, Dr. Seth Hammer, at 973-376-7718 for more information; or join us at McLynn’s on Tuesday’s at 12:15 for lunch.
