Niche Ranks Springfield Public Schools No. 74 in NJ for Second Straight Year

SPRINGFIELD, NJ — In its newly released rankings, national educational research and rankings firm Niche has placed Springfield Public Schools No. 74 in the state for the second year in  a row.

The firm gave the district an overall A- grade, which is the same grade received in on the 2017 list as were the grades for the components of the overall grade.

For the components, Niche gave the district an A- for academics, A- for teachers, A for college prep, A for health & safety, B for resources and facilities, B- for sports, B+ for clubs and activities, B+ for diversity,  A for administration and a C for food.  To read the full report card, click here.

According to Niche, the 2018 Best School Districts ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data and ratings collected from millions of Niche users.

CLARK, NJ — Three buses collided in the Arthur L. Johnson High School parking lot around noon on Thursday in a chain-reaction crash.
