Raid Results in Prostitution Arrest in Kenilworth

KENILWORTH, NJ - After an extensive investigation, Kenilworth police on Monday arrested a New York woman for soliciting sexual act to an undercover cop for money.

According to a release from the Kenilworth Police Department, detectives initiated a raid of K&W Wellness Center at 725 Federal Ave. after an investigation based on several anonymous local complaints that investigators received claiming that prostitution was taking place within the business.

Prior to the raid, K&W Wellness Center was advertising as an "acupuncture treatment center." As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Zhang Jihong, 48, of Flushing, N.Y. for soliciting prostitution after offering sexual gratification to an undercover detective in exchange for money. Jihong was served with a criminal complaint for soliciting prostitution and released from police custody.

She has a scheduled court appearance on Jan. 23, 2018 in the Kenilworth Municipal Court.
