Renowned Ball in the House Group Will Perform with Scotch Plains-Fanwood Students on Tues, May 16

Can You Stand The Rain Credits: Ball in the House
SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- What an opportunity to bring our local community as well as our children to celebrate a night filled with the vocal sounds of Ball in the House, a five-man, pop/R&B "mouth band" from Boston on Tuesday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Auditorium.

Following in the path of classic harmony groups like Boyz II Men, The Temptations, and Take 6, while incorporating the pop and neo-soul influence of artists like Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, and Pharrell Williams, the group will move audiences with their music.
With their extensive tour schedule (averaging 200 dates a year), Ball in the House reaches millions and is arguably one of the hardest working, most successful indie bands today. Over the years, they have performed with artists including The Beach Boys, Cher, Gladys Knight, Kool & the Gang, KC & The Sunshine Band, The Temptations, 98 degrees, and Smokey Robinson. They can even be heard on national TV and radio as the voice behind the commercials for Cool Whip dessert topping!!!
A review from the Boston Globe put it very succinctly: Ball in the House has everything you would expect to find in a successful pop/rock band....the one thing it doesn't have is instruments.
Our 4th grade graduating class from Evergreen Elementary School in Scotch Plains will join our High School a cappella group, the Sensations, to perform with the world renowned  Ball in the House. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.), in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Auditorium (667 Westfield Road, Scotch Plains). Tickets are $5. Visit is Scotch Plains-Fanwood’s only free daily paper. Sign up for our daily eNews and follow us on Facebook and twitter @SPF_TAP. Download the free TAPinto App for iPhone or Android.
