SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Soccer Club of Springfield will once again attend a New York Red Bulls soccer game at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ. The club outing will be the second time it has attended a game and is becoming a bi-annual event for the club.
Last year over 60 players, parents and coaches from the Soccer Club of Springfield attended and the club was recognized on the big screen at during halftime.
"Attending a professional game surrounded by such a spirited group of Springfield players was a blast,” Gina Levy, Springfield Soccer Mom said. “It was a win-win-win ...my kids got to be with their friends, we all got to enjoy a game together and it was a great bonding night for the Soccer club!"
This year’s game is going to be an extremely patriotic. The NY Red Bulls are playing the New England Revolution on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 27, 2017. It also happens to be Military Appreciation Night at the game.
The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.This is at the core of their mission statement to, “Develop, Engage and Inspire The Soccer Community.”
Prior to the game, Red Bull fans can walk along Red Bull Bullevard just outside the gate area and participate in many of the free activities and receive possible giveaways. Upon entering the arena, each ticket holder receives a game poster unique to the game. The NY Red Bulls haven’t lost at home the entire 2017 season are currently in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference.
The price of a ticket is $25, below the normal individual ticket and portion of the tickets sales goes back to the club.
