The Pink Zone clinic supports Breast Cancer Research, and will be led by Moravian College's Women's Head Basketball Coach Mary Beth Spirk, along with the coaches and players of Moravian College and Jonathan Dayton High School.

The clinic started years ago when former Springfield basketball player Sara Steinman contacted Coach Rennie about Moravian's Pink Zone fundraiser for the Play4Kay Foundation.  Coach Rennie contacted Springfield Basketball, and the Springfield Pink Zone Clinic was born.  Springfield Basketball is the second biggest donor to Moravian's Play4Kay fundraising, behind only Moravian themselves.

This clinic is third and final in the series of skills clinics that provided to Springfield Youth Basketball players in grades 3 to 8.
