SPRINGFIELD, NJ - It was a light agenda for Tuesday’s meeting chaired by Anthony Fonseca.  Four resolutions were approved allowing a front yard variance for a fence, two side yard variances for additions and a side yard and lot coverage variances for a fence and patio.

One new application was granted for a 15 foot by 20 foot patio at 34 Cottler Avenue. Zoning Board member Steven Hockstein questioned whether the applicant, Dennis Tolentino, was going to mitigate the effects of increased lot coverage. Mr. Tolentino has an approved plan to process the storm water overflow. Chief engineer Sam Mardini approved the plan and will be out to inspect and make sure it has been properly integrated.
