Springfield Board of Health Reorganization Meeting – January 11

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – At the annual Board of Health Reorg meeting Dr. Bielory welcomed back all reappointed members. He then took nominations for Chair and Vice Chair. Dr. Bielory and Vice Chair Harris were nominated and reappointed unanimously.

Health officer Michael Fitzpatrick announced that the Health Department will now have an office on the second floor of the Municipal Building with regular hours. His department has been doing the final inspections at the Hilton Garden Oasis. The certificate of occupancy should be issued in days.

A rabies clinic will be held at the Chisholm Community Center on Saturday January 14 from 1 p.m. to -4 p.m. Residents may register their new and or existing pets.

Maryellen Brennan was authorized and appointed as Secretary to the Springfield Board of Education. Michael Montanari, ESQ. was retained as the Board of Health Attorney.

The next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday February 8 at the Firehouse.
