Springfield Boys 8th Grade Team Take Home Another Championship and Advance to Final Four

After taking home the championship last month in the March Of Dimes Tournament, The Springfield Boys 8th grade team, started March Madness in fashion with another tournament championship, as they defeated the Clark Chargers 58-44 in the Finals of the 13th Annual Clark Winter Tournament. Seeming to have hit their their stride, the boys in Blue and Orange have won six straight and ten of their last 12, with wins coming against the number one seed Clark, and the four seed Edison. Their record is now 24-11.

The streak has landed them for the fifth consecutive year in the Final Four of the JBA Play-Offs.  The next game is Wednesday, March 8.  They face, once again, the number one seed Clark at 8 p.m. at the Clark Brewer Rec Center (430 Westfield Ave). 

If they advance, they will play Friday, March 10 at Oratory Prep in Summit.

Three School Buses Involved in Crash at Clark's ALJ High School
