Springfield Calendar for Week of March 19: Springfest, Board of Education Meeting, Dayton Winter Sports Awards and Final Shows of ‘Cinderella’

SPRINGFIELD, NJ – Springfield’s Board of Education meets Monday and it will be the last meeting until April 16. 

The Winter Sports Awards for Jonathan Dayton athletes takes place Thursday in the high school auditorium at 7:00 p.m.  Students lettering in boys and girls basketball, winter track, swimming, hockey and bowling will be recognized.

Jonathan Dayton’s spring musical production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella continues Friday at 7:00 p.m. in the high school’s auditorium.  The last show will be Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and the following Friday and Saturday.  Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and $8 for students.  They can be purchased at the box office or online at

On Saturday March 24, Springfield holds its annual Springfest.  There will be over 2,000 eggs used in the egg hunt and lots of other activities.
